I am Precious To God
I Am Precious to God is an annual, faith-based charity initiative by Fathered by God, focused on providing love, support, and resources to underprivileged children, single mothers, and orphans. Through this program, we aim to bring both practical assistance and spiritual nourishment, ensuring that these vulnerable groups feel valued, supported, and empowered. The program highlights the love of God in action, impacting lives by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
On the 16th of September, 2023, the “I am precious to God” initiative held a transformative event in the Bugiri district. The team reached out to over 30 households of single parents, interacting with more than 250 children. These children were supported with essential items like food and clothing, bringing smiles to their faces and hope to their hearts.
The households received basic food necessities that would last them for several days, ensuring they had one less thing to worry about. In addition, about 50 girls were given sanitary pads, an essential item that is often overlooked but greatly needed.
But the initiative didn’t stop there. The team carried out street evangelism, praying for numerous people from the main centre of the district to the outskirts. This act of faith and compassion touched many hearts, leading to 870 recorded souls dedicating their lives to Christ that day.
The“I am precious to God” initiative is a testament to the power of love, faith, and community. It’s not just about providing physical necessities, but also about addressing spiritual needs and showing every child and parent that they are precious, loved, and not alone.
Our heart is to make it bigger and better every passing engagement with the initiative. We make it bigger in terms of the impact with touching the lives of the youth and households needing aid and help.
